Summer Offshore Series 2016
Our offshore program is only for incoming 9th grade through recently graduated anglers that are already members of TWHS BFT.
Our summer series will take place on July 16, July 30 and August 13. It is up to you as to whether or not you participate or how many you participate in. Participating in these tournaments have nothing to do with next year's offshore program (i.e. if you can't participate this summer, you can still participate next year).
Our first tournament on July 16 will take place at Stow-Away Marina from 6:30 am - 12:30pm. Check-in will be at 6 am, boats will arrive back at Stow-Away at 12:30 pm and those that can stay for lunch and discussion can eat at StowAway.
More details will be given as we get closer.
We will not be registering you as we would normally do for an offshore tournament. What I am going to try to do is see how many anglers we have, how many captains we have and how many boats we have. You may fish with your current or future partner or you can just go potluck. We are hoping to have more seasoned anglers/captains in the boat with newer anglers to show them the ropes. If you want to fish in this first tournament, you will need to submit this information by JULY 8. If you don't own or have access to a boat, or have a partner, we still want you to submit your information but please know there are no guarantees we will have space for everyone (we will do our very best - mind you, we haven't done this before ;)
A captain may also participate as a member of their team.
There will be no fee to participate. All participants will follow all safety rules that THSBA requires as well as anything else their captain requires. Click HEREfor THSBA rules.
If you are a recently graduated angler in our program that wants to participate, you can participate as a boat captain or an angler, we would love your participation either way.
